The helicopter
The CH 77 Ranabot is an ultramodern helicopter developed with all national regulations within Europe in mind. The CH 77 Ranabot is now registered in England, Germany, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, France, Italy, and soon also in the Netherlands.

The CH 77 Ranabot has significant improvements in several areas compared to other (certified) helicopters such as the Robinson R22 and the Cabri G2. These include a very powerful engine with injection, turbocharging, and intercooling, ensuring maximum power at all times and at all altitudes, up to the maximum flight level.
By using spoken checklists via the headset that must be completed before the flight can be carried out, safety is optimally guaranteed.
The helicopter's controls are very user-friendly, and the flight precision is exceptional. The CH77 Ranabot is one of the few helicopters even equipped with a 2-axis trim function.
The integrated EFIS, digital engine management (FADEC), and continuous feedback from the helicopter systems, including alarm indicators, ensures that the pilot of this helicopter is always well-informed about the condition of the helicopter.
The CH77 Ranabot has the same cabin dimensions as the R22. With two adults, you have plenty of room, and even longer flights are no problem.
The carbon rotor blades are rust-resistant and have a very favorable profile that reduces drag and increases lift. The blades were developed by helicopter manufacturer Agusta.

Thanks to its sleek and sophisticated design, the helicopter experiences virtually no vibration during flight, making it suitable for long-distance flights. Its flight time (endurance) is 3 hours. With the required 20 minutes of reserve fuel, you can cover a distance of approximately 330 km at a cruise speed of 80 knots. That's a nonstop flight from Lelystad to Abbeville in France, Hamburg in Germany, or Luxembourg, for example.

The CH 77 Ranabot makes helicopter flying accessible to a much wider audience than before. It's now even approaching the cost of flying microlight aircraft.
For pilots who currently hold a PPL(H) license, this represents a great opportunity to fly many hours at a significantly lower cost. Many pilots only fly the number of hours required to maintain their PPL(H) license due to the high costs. DutchWingCraft now makes it possible to fly more at a lower cost!

It's now also easy to start with the RPL(H) certification and then progress to the PPL(H) certification, with the (much cheaper) hours of the RPL(H) training counting towards the PPL(H) certification. So, you can take the PPL(H) certification training course much more affordably at DutchWingCraft!

Medisch certificaat
Piloten met een RPL(H) dienen medisch gekeurd te worden waarna u een medisch certificaat klasse II krijgt. Deze keuring moet afhankelijk van uw leeftijd regelmatig worden herhaald. Wij raden u ten zeerste uw initiële keuring te doen voordat u aan de opleiding begint, want zonder het medische certificaat mag u niet solo vliegen en ook geen examen afleggen voor uw vliegbrevet!
The patent
Bij DutchWingCraft haal je het Nationale RPL(H) brevet met de Class Rating MLH (microlighthelicopter) waarmee je helikopters met een Nederlandse registratie tot 600 kg mag vliegen. Je mag met het Nederlandse brevet en een Nederlandse helikopter in Europa in de meeste landen gewoon vliegen. Sommige landen vragen dat je van tevoren meldt dat je daar gaat vliegen.

Theorie: PPL(H): 9 theorie vakken met examens bij het CBR

Praktijk: 30 uur (minimaal 20 uur instructeur dual-time en minimaal 5 uur solo)

100 nm vlucht over land inclusief 1 of 2 landingen op andere vliegvelden

Vliegexamen: praktijk examen voor het RPL(H) - MLH brevet​

Voordat u het praktijkexamen voor uw vliegbrevet kunt doen moet u de theorie vakken allemaal hebben behaald.​
De kosten
Vliegles op een microlight helikopter is aanzienlijk goedkoper dan op een helikopter voor het PPLH brevet. De lessen kosten €400 per uur en dat is inclusief briefing voor en na de vlucht, de helikopter met brandstof en de instructeur.
De kosten voor deze RPL(H) - MLH opleiding bedragen ongeveer € 18.500.

Extra kosten
Voor de opleiding tot het brevet geldt: landingsgelden, weekendtoeslagen en examenkosten worden apart in rekening gebracht. De genoemde prijzen zijn exclusief 21% BTW.
